I like DDM Tuning's kits. The one in my ZX14 never had a moments problem, and it got ridden through heavy rain many times, and dirt / gravel roads too many times.
They are 35W 6,000K and always lit the first time, instantly or as close as HID comes to instant. It really isn't.
I may eventually put an HID kit in my Connie, but not until the miniatures combine ballast and starter because I don't feel like pulling my upper fairing to do a good job of it, like I did with the ZX14.

"miniatures combine ballast and starter"...they are like that now.I've got two sets. The ignitor is in the ballast. They're not DDM's though...they're A1A Sportbike kits(the ones you talked about a while back).Only a ballast and a cable going to the factory plug-in.And naturally a line going to the harness.Bout the size of a small deck of cards.Pretty slim.

i ended up putting a relay harness on my highs cuz sometimes only 1 would light up and after calling ddm that was their recommendation. they said the highs demand more power but i didn't buy my relay from them lol to much $$$ got it off ebay for like 1/2 of what ddm wanted and have had no a problems since.

My ZX14 had DDM Tuning 35W 6,000k highs and lows, and I hooked them to the stock connectors, and never had a second of trouble with them.
When I flashed my highs, they flashed.
If your connectors are dirty, or corroded, you will have problems. Get some electrical grease (di-something) and put it on the spade connectors, and make sure they are seated in the bike-side connectors well.
